Karate
Karate is a martial art which improves your mental and physical strength. Most educated people associate karate with discipline. This is because of the format in which the classes are taught. At each level the student knows in advance what is expected of them to reach the next level.
Like our school teachers, our karate instructors instill positive values. Our students are under constant supervision and guidance through a planned routine by our instructors. Our purpose is to make sure that you work at a level that is comfortable, yet challenging. Why should everyone practice Karate?
Fitness:
Our workout consist of a good mixture of cardiovascular endurance strength training and flexibility exercise that are designed to benefit the whole body
Self Defence:
Regardless of age, this is the number one reason people are drawn to Karate. Feeling safe is important to everyone. Karate is a key to self defence when we are attacked by a aggressor.
Concentration:
Karate improves the concentration skills through the practice of “Kata”- a series of movements. We mean focus your consciousness, mind and body on a single task.
Leadership skills:
Your child will learn self leadership as well as how to lead others. It also improves the self respect, confidence and co-ordination.
Discipline:
You cannot maintain structure without discipline. In karate this discipline is maintained through the respect for the head instructor. Something different: Curiosity is sometimes another description given describing the desire to try Karate. It’s all good. The reason for wanting to try Karate does not matter what is important is that you stay the course and learn Karate. It takes time, but so does anything that is worthwhile.
